Wednesday beach trip and pier

So nice to have Jacob off from work and able to go to the beach with us!  He made several "pools" that entertained the kids for a long time.  Great dinner at Buddy's followed by a trip to the Seaview pier.

Fun day...Nola seems to be good with the sand and water now.  Stuck her head under twice to get clean.

Vacation!

Looking forward to a week at the beach and time with family this week.   Two quick pics  Nola finally loves hairbows.  Maddux is ready to drive!

Movies and a lunch date

The first picture is of Nola after her first (impromptu) haircut.  She desperately wants long hair, but we had to at least get her bangs cut - so glad she finally has enough hair for a haircut!  It's still fine and thin, but lots more growing in!

This weekend we got to see Despicable Me 2 with Maddux's best bud!  On Tuesday Nola had her third series of vaccinations to get her caught up, she came home without titers for many things! Afterwards we had a mommy and Nola lunch date.

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July (Nola's first).  Enjoyed some face painting, bounce houses and fireworks. Nola finally got her Minnie Mouse face paint....on her arm!

Had a good visit with Wai Po and Nye Nye - everyone survived the car ride.  Nola also got to meet Aunt Gina (thanks for the pictures) and some cousins at Nye Nye's house. 

Weekend Update

We had a great weekend, despite the never ending rain showers.  Started with a trip to see dinosaurs (Maddux only...Nola was scared just looking at the pictures afterwards).  Maddux fell asleep on the way there from swim class, with goggles on.  Followed by our first trip to Mike's Farm on Saturday. We met up with other families who have adopted from China.   All the kids played so well together!  Jacob has some video of them playing "Ring around the Rosies" will try to upload that later.
