3 Months

Today we are celebrating three months since the day we met Nola.  A little video. ..

Birthday Party and First Movie

Saturday was Maddux's best friend's birthday party.   Followed by Nola's first trip to the movies on Sunday morning.   She made it to the end with a little wiggling about while watching it.

Maddux and Nola also wanted to show off their scared/excited faces!

Father's Day and Weekend Fun

Last Day of Kindergarten

Seems like the first day of kindergarten was only a few weeks ago and we're already at the last day.   Maddux's last day of school picture... and his many faces:

Day of Firsts

Today Maddux has his first gymnastics class.   He has been asking to go all year and even after trying out karate still wanted to do gymnastics... mostly because he remembers jumping into a ball pit at a birthday party last year.   The summer schedule of classes worked for us, so he is signed up through August.  I think he actually liked it,  he seemed disappointed he had to wait until next Tuesday to go back again! (Sorry about the picture quality,  the watching room is far away and behind glass windows).

The second "first" was not planned, but when I picked Nola up from daycare her hair was in ponytails.  Amazed that she let this happen and was so excited about it.

Trying out our kites

We spent this morning trying out our kites from our Easter basket (thanks Kimmy!).  Overall it was a success - a few crashes, one runaway kite, but everyone had fun! Topped off by a fun afternoon at the pool... great day!
